Both Lattice iCE40 Ultra™ and MachXO2 series chips are FPGA devices. The iCE40 Ultra™ series chips are low-power FPGAs that can provide 5K to 80K logic units and rich I/O resources.

They also support communication protocols such as SPI and I2C. MachXO2 series chips are small, low-power FPGAs that can provide 640 to 17K logic units, have extremely low static power consumption, and support high-speed LVDS and MIPI D-PHY interfaces.

The two series of chips are used in a wide range of applications, including programmable logic controllers, machine vision, wireless communications, network routers and switches, and industrial control and automation systems.

Especially iCE40 Ultra™ series chips are suitable for application scenarios requiring low power consumption and small sizes, such as smart wearable devices, IoT nodes, and mobile devices. The MachXO2 series chips are suitable for application scenarios that require higher performance and richer I/O resources, such as machine vision and video processing.
