XC9536XL-5CS48C Overview



The XC9536XL-5CS48C is a low-cost, high-performance, low-power CMOS programmable logic device (PLD). It is a member of the Xilinx XC9500XL family of CPLDs and is designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of applications. The device is available in a 48-pin TQFP package and is ideal for applications with low I/O count and minimal logic density requirements.


The XC9536XL-5CS48C features 5 macrocells, each consisting of 4 input logic gates, a flip-flop, and a dedicated output pin. It also features 48 I/O pins, with 32 of them being user-configurable as either inputs or outputs. The device is capable of up to 32 user-defined logic functions, and can be programmed using the Xilinx ISE software. It has a maximum operating frequency of 33MHz, and a maximum operating voltage of 3.3V.
